Home again!

Oh wow!!!! I had a super fun time this past weekend at Scrapbook Your Heart. It was so great to meet so many new woman who just love to scrapbook. We had just under 100 ladies there!

It was a time of inspiration, sharing, growing and learning.

Allison Orthner, Christy Riopel, Janine Wahl, Christine Collier, Kandi Perman all did such a great job with this event. What a great time to be refreshed, discover what is really important and to scrap from the heart. I really appreciated Allison, all the work that she put into this event & all that she had to say during each sesssion before we did the 4 themed layouts. Girl, you certainly know how to speak and share your thoughts wonderfully (even if you cry lots - that's ok! ;)

I was amazed at the support of the fundraiser that we had on this weekend as well. The money raised is for a community in Belo, Ethiopia & I know that it will change their lives because you ladies were amazing in raising over $1700!!! That's just wonderful!

My classes went well and the ladies who took my "Happiness" album class - you gals did a fabulous job!! I know I had to keep moving along and push you a bit but your albums all looked beautiful. I sure hope that you enjoy them.

I admit that I was just a wee bit nervous Friday night because I was 1st up to teach one of the themed layouts for the weekend (and didn't know how I was going to be able to teach almost 100 ladies). This layout was "family" themed. But everyone did a fabulous job with their layouts and I loved walking around helping them & seeing the different little twists that some put on their layouts. And so many of you ladies had photos that were just SO perfect for the papers as well.

I loved spending time with my good friend Roxanne. Thanks for being my roomie! And thanks so much for all your help! I know that I would have been up VERY late making those goodie boxes for Sunday morning if it wasn't for you. I am so blessed to have you for a friend and I treasure our friendship so very much.

On Sunday morning a little group of us walked outside in the pouring rain, across a little bridge to this beautiful little chapel.We had a little time of sharing & worshipping God. I loved singing those songs with you ladies, hearing how the Lord has been working in your lives and just wish that it could have been longer.

I'm so thankful to Allison for inviting me to be a part of this weekend. It was a wonderful time.
