I've been on a painting kick lately.

I just decided yesterday afternoon to paint the kids bathroom (with some left-over yellow paint) and it turned out great. Even though my shoulders are quite sore today. Can I just say that I don't like painting behind toilets!!!! It's not the easiest thing at all! But it's definitely better than it was that's for sure.

Here's a few pics of Kailyn's room. The coloring isn't that great in the pictures - it just wouldn't take too well. But, it's a very light shade of pink (almost white as Kailyn would say). ;)

Her grandparents bought her the mosquito net that she's been wanting for so long!

... and her stuffed animals and dolls that she so neatly placed at the end of her bed.

What is it with perfume jars?? Why are they so interesting to little hands - especially boys. Since the boys are sharing a bedroom we've been putting Ryan to bed in our room at the beginning of the night and then moving him to his bed when we go to bed. (they were just too rowdy and distracted with each other -hoping it will stop soon). Anyways, last night was the 2nd night that he sprayed my perfume all over the room. I mean it stunk so badly that we could hardly sleep in there. The first night I had to have the window wide open with the fan blowing to get rid of the smell. (and I used to like this perfume ... not anymore!)
So, this morning I asked him where he sprayed it. He told me "on the mirror." What a turkey!! Sure hope it's not so "perty" smelling up there tonight!

Oh, and here's a layout that I finished last night using the new Rustic Retreat papers from Polar Bear Press that my dear friend Kristy designed. Hoping to get some more projects done tonight and on the weekend. Got lots of things to finish before the end of the month.
