Happy New Year!

Yes! I'm a bit late. We have been away & arrived home a few days ago so I'm still trying to get back into life here at home. Plus catching my kids' cold doesn't really help either.
We had a wonderful time with family and friends. So good to see everyone again. Who knows maybe one day we'll be living closer to each other again. We'll see.

We started off the New Year with Tim having no job! Great start huh? Yes, he knew before the holidays that he was being laid off. But, we trust that the Lord has this great plan for our lives. Sure it's not easy right now especially when there's bills to pay and mouths to feed but we do know that He will take care of us. We just need to continue trusting in Him during this time.

I had a few disappointments and another again today with some design teams that I applied for. But there again, I know that the Lord has my life in His hands and everything works out the way it does for a reason. I'll be ok with it all - after I sulk a bit tonight. No! I think I'm going to go and work out extra hard tonight to help relieve that disappointment and weight I gained over the holidays!! A big huge congrats to my dear friends that did make these design teams. I am very happy for you (I truly am).

I've got a full plate this month of design team projects and assignments. I'm also working on my class for Urban Scrapbook for February plus thinking of ideas for my 2 classes for Canada's Crop for Kids. I also need to do some things for CHA as well so all in all, I'm keeping quite busy. Maybe it's a good thing Tim is around a bit more right now - it gives me a bit more time to get some of these things done.

Well, off to go & exercise!! woohoo!!
