Day 10

Not a whole lot happened yesterday. I did some more baking (put it all in the freezer so that I don't eat it all!!!), did laundry and the boys (all 3 of them) played outside in the snow.

That was my entry for Day 10. Here it is.

Tim built up a little hill down the steps of our deck so that they kids could slide down on their tobaggan. They had a blast!

Well, looks like the busy time of the year is hitting our house this week. Today Ryan has a field trip to Fort Edmonton. I'm sure he's going to have a great time. They are going to bake cookies, make a craft and be in a Christmas play. This will all be taking place as if they were in the year 1905.

Tomorrow is Ryan & Kailyn's School Christmas Concert. I'm looking forward to that. Hopefully this year we'll get a good seat and just maybe we can sit through the whole thing. In the past, it's been difficult because of Jayden being young and finding it hard to sit for long. Maybe this year will be different - seeing as we'll just have 1 child to handle.

Thursday I'm teaching at my LSS. Friday morning I'm helping in Kailyn's class as they are having an "Art Explosion" day. I'm still not too sure what is involved. But I guess I'll find out. Still need to do some shopping too this week (stocking stuffer stuff).
Saturday we're having brunch with our neighbors, I teach a class all afternoon, then have worship practice that night. Sunday I lead music at church and then I think the rest of the day will be a bit calmer (I hope, at least!).
Next week we've got some doctor's appointments, meeting a friend for supper, I'm helping in Ryan's class and Kailyn gets to go on a school field trip to hear Michael W. Smith - his Christmas concert. I love his new CD and sure wish that I could have gone to this concert too!!! Lucky girl!
Phew! We'll all need a break after the next 2 weeks. Good thing the kids have some time off school! Now, don't get me wrong. I love this time of the year. It's so exciting and festive and such a time of celebration. It's just tiring too.
Anyways, gotta run & have a shower. Have a great day!

  1. Hey Cari! It was great to hear from you. Lots of snow is right! I don't mind though as long as it stays out of my driveway and the roads! haha
