Whoa! It's been a while!

Hi there everyone! Thanks to all of you who've been peaking on my blog to see how life is going.

We just came home from a weeks vacation at a gorgeous cabin/lodge on the lake. The lake was just beautiful and the water was so still. We didn't have the greatest weather but the kids certainly enjoyed themselves playing on the beach.

Sorry, I don't have any pictures to share right now. I'll have to upload some from my camera onto my hubby's laptop sometime.

We're still doing the house hunting thing and hoping that this week will be productive. We've seen something that we like - not exactly what we were hoping for (because it's a town house) but right now that might be our only option. We really want to get settled in - for the kids especially. Ok, ... for me too. I want to have "our" own place again. Living with family is good but not always easy, if you know what I mean.

I realized the other day that I've got to get back into the scrapbooking mode again and boy it's hard!!! Especially knowing that I've got about 40 boxes of stuff to unpack!!!!

I'll be kitting my classes for BC's Crop for Kids in the next week & I'm so excited to meet all the ladies who I've been in touch with for the past few months. It's going to be a great weekend.

Plus registration for BC's Creative Expo is going to be happening soon. They've posted all their classes and teachers now so please go have a peak! I'm looking forward to that weekend in November as well.

Oh, and the newest issue of Canadian Scrapbooker is out and it's wonderful!! Congrats to my friend Kathy for the cover!!! I love it girl!!

And the 1st issue of the Back to Basics is out as well. It's a great book for that friend you've been trying to get scrapbooking. It's filled with many basic ideas, creative options, great pointers on how to use the various products that are out there now. I've been thinking that I'll give one to my mom!
