It's an awesome kit this month at Scrap Shotz filled with gorgeous SEI christmas paper, Maya Road velvet flowers, glittery Stickles in red, fabulous brads, .... just a fabulous kit!
Here's what I made this month:
Some Christmas cards (which I will be sending to someone!!)
A layout about my kiddos and how some pictures just don't turn out (but I still love 'em!)
Another layout about our tree decorations.
A pillow box (using Coluzzle template) that could easily be used for a gift card, etc.
You must make sure to check out the other Design Team members projects. They did a fabulous job with this kit - they're all so creative! Here's the DT gallery.
I had a great & busy weekend. On Friday night my SIL came over, we played the Christmas music and sat on my scrapbook room floor and made Christmas cards. Had a great time - thanks Gina! (even though I was quite sore from sitting like that for 3 hours!!)
Then on Saturday I went to a scrapbook retreat (just for the day) in Maple Ridge and taught 2 classes. The ladies did a fabulous job and I'm so glad that they loved their projects!!! You gals did an awesome job - and one of the gals even had pictures to fill up her mini Christmas album already!! I love that!!!
Yesterday morning I got up and joined my running group for a really great run - which I'm feeling today! But it's all good. No pain ... no gain right? Right! (at least that's what I'm telling myself!)
Now today I've got to get busy and make up some kits for a class I'm teaching at Clipper Street. It's going to be a great class - another Christmas album.
Hoping to get some decorating done around here too. But that may have to wait 'til tomorrow.
Have a great Monday!!
You've been busy! I'm glad the running is going well!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your creations with the Dec. kit. They are all totally gorgeous!
Your banner photo is simply adorable! LOVE your new creations too.
ReplyDeleteGreat layouts! The cards a really cute too! I sure hope one is coming to me! Just some hugs for you!
ReplyDeleteHey Cari! Love your cards and layout:) See ya later.
ReplyDeleteCari, thanks so much for coming out to Loon Lake on Saturday and working your magic. Your classes were awesome and I know everyone is so happy with the end results. I think the glitter from the class that was spread from one end of the lodge to the other was a perfect fit with the Christmas theme of the retreat! Please come back again in 2009, and maybe one time you can stay for the whole weekend :)
