Wow! Those lavenders are awesome!! And I loved how you cut up your picture. I think that look is really cool and am itching to try it!
I've signed up for a couple of those on-line classes and while the idea of them is great I have failed to find the time (or is that MAKE the time) to do the projects! The usual state of affairs around here is that as soon as I sit down to scrap one or more of my daughters decides that they have spent long enough in independent play and think "what's Mommy doing? She must be desperately lonely and bored since we've been playing so nicely for so long. Let's go hang out at her elbow for a bit!" LOL!
But I do think they are a good idea and hold on to the dream of completing the work ... one day!

So, Alison, if you could email me at cari_locken@yahoo.ca with your mailing address I'll send you out a new issue (fall 2010) of Canadian Scrapbooker and some other little goodies too! ;)

Thanks to all of you who answered my questions (about online classes). I'd still love to hear from more of you about what you think of online classes. Long or short ones, do you even like them, what kinds of classes would you like (layouts, mini albums, special projects, etc).

Went to the PNE yesterday afternoon/evening and the kids enjoyed themselves immensely. They always look forward to this time of year. But man! It was busy and boy! do they know how to suck a person's wallet dry!!! I can't believe how expensive everything is these days! Aside from that we really did have fun!

Hope you had a great weekend too. Now off to do laundry and enjoy the last week before school.
I'll leave you with another layout that I have in Canadian Scrapbooker - our assignment was farm animals.

Supplies used: Core'dinations cardstock, Fiskars border punch, American Crafts Thickers, Chipboard Alpha, Making Memories photo turns/brads, Biscous chipboard pieces, Cosmo Cricket patterned paper

  1. Woohoo!! I won! I can't believe it!
Thanks Cari!! Sending you an email shortly ...

Love the goats btw and totally hear you about the PNE. I paid $9 for butter chicken with a naan for my 6 year old and it didn't even include a drink (another $2,50!!)Serious money drain but tons of fun!

  2. Great layout! Yeah, we just did the PNE yesterday and it was sooo much fun, but not a cheap day for sure. Good thing we only do it once a year!
