Take a Hike

I love designing for Simple Stories.  Their collections, designs, colors, embellishments ... everything just makes me happy.

I created this layout using Take A Hike collection.
We don't go camping (although I wish we would because I used to do it every summer growing up and have great memories of those times).  I think my kids would enjoy it as well.  But I have a hubby who isn't too keen on the idea (as he tree planted for many, many summers during his 20's) although I know he'd do it for his kiddos.

I love the alpha stickers and embellishment stickers.

I added dimension with lots of foam tape & squares.

I did some hand journaling as well (even though I much prefer computer printing).  My kids still need to see my handwriting once in a while.
