12 Days of Gratitude

Hello all!

I had fun creating this project and am happy to be able to share it with you today. I wanted to create a board where my family could record things that they are thankful for.

I used the fabulous (and beautiful) Advent Calendar from Silhouette America. You can find it HERE.

For the title on this board I cut out the word "Gratitude" from some Silhouette Printable Kraft Paper. I then used the Offset feature to cut out a 'shadow' effect from some orange card stock.

After adhering those together I used some Double Sided Adhesive and cut out some small leaf designs. I then sprinkled gold glitter over top of them and adhered them to the title.

I cut out some pocket designs using the Silhouette Vellum.  Before cutting them out I resized them to a smaller size in order for them to fit onto the frame wires properly.

After adhering the pockets together I then cut out some cards (from white card stock) to fit inside the pockets.  These cards are intended for my family members to write down things that they are thankful for.

I embellished the front of the pockets with some leaf designs cut from Silhouette Adhesive Backed Cardstock and Printable Kraft Cardstock.

I also added some recent photos of my kiddos  - 3 beautiful things that I am beyond thankful for!!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Let the Countdown Begin!!

It's December 1st!
Who else is excited about that?  I know I sure am!

That means the countdown can begin!
And to help with that process I created this super fun Advent Calendar. You can fill the boxes with little treats, messages, quotes, holiday traditions to do that day, etc. The list is endless and be changed up every year.

I used my  Silhouette and THIS cut file that you can purchase in the Silhouette Online Store.  It was quite easy to put together.

I chose to use white cardstock for my frame because of the contrast with the patterned papers & embellishments but you could use whatever color you wanted.
I cut out 25 boxes from various patterned papers from the December Documented collection.

I then embellished each box with Stickers & Chipboard from the December Documented collection and the Sn@p Christmas set.  These work together just perfectly.

At the top of the box I adhered the chipboard sentiment "Merry Christmas".

I also created a box from patterned paper and adhered that to the top section of the box. This finished the box off so nicely.

I used some brads from the December Documented colleciton on a few of the boxes as well.
