Harvest Lane

I love Simple Stories and the Harvest Lane collection just warms my heart!
The colors, the richness, the designs, etc just make me so cozy & warm feeling.

I created this layout for my post on the Simple Stories blog today. Of course, I'm only going to share a peek because I want you to hop on over to their blog to read more about it and see the whole thing!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

A few layouts ...

Just wanted to share with you a few layouts that I  created for a layout workshop that I taught this past month.

I just love Harvest Lane by Simple Stories and it is such a perfect combination with Core'dinations Colorcore cardstock. They are a great combo!

I created 2 single paged layouts and 1 double page.  The class was filled with lots of goodies and the ladies thoroughly enjoyed themselves. That always make me happy.

Here's a look at the layouts.

Layout #1
I love how easy this was to put together because the background patterned paper has so much visual interest to it already.  I mixed up the alpha stickers to create variety in my title. (thanks Allison for taking the photo last summer!)

Adding foam dots adds dimension & depth to your pages. (I'm addicted to those things!!)

Layout #2
I used some Kraft Core'dinations Cardstock for the base of my layout and 1 sheet of patterned paper - just cut into 2 pieces. Great way to save if you're looking for ideas.

I used some kitchen supplies (toothpicks :)) to create the little flags that I stuck behind the popped up heart sticker.

 Layout #3
I'm not a huge double page creator so they always seem to take me a while to figure out a design but I know that many like to do double pages so I always try to include those in my workshops.

Some close-up shots.
I love the sticker collection for this release . I adhered 2 of the tree stickers flat on the paper then 'popped' up the middle tree, tied a small piece of twine around the tire swing for added dimension & interest.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today.
I hope that I've inspired you a bit.
Please stop by again tomorrow as I'll be sharing another Harvest Lane layout (and I'll be posting on the Simple Stories blog as well.)

Enjoy your day!
