I've been honored to be a part of the Design Teams for both Imaginisce & My Little Bit of Whimsy for quite some time now.

And today I'd like to share with you a card set that I made.

I used the Sole Sisters collection from Imaginisce and some darling embellishments from MLBOW to finish my cards off.

Here is the set of cards.

"Friends are the Best Accessories"

I punched a hole in the center of the card after I adhered the patterned paper to the front.

I then placed the outside scalloped part of the chipboard sticker around the circular opening.

On the inside of the card I adhered the rest of the circular chipboard sticker onto some white flowers (by Imaginisce). I then placed the chipboard circle onto the inside of the card and adhered in place (making sure that it lined up with the one on the front of the card).

I adhered the darling little MLBOW button to the center of the chipboard circle.

"Best Friends"

I first took some white Core'dinations Cardstock and embossed across the middle section.

I then cut some patterned paper from the Sole Sisters collection adding a paper doilie, ribbon, sticker sentiment, some die-cuts from the SS collection and added the beautiful blue flower stick pin from MLBOW overtop of one of the floral die-cuts.

"Let's Go Shopping"

Now what girl doesn't like to go shopping?? I used papers & stickers from the Sole Sisters collection (by Imaginisce) . When I received the purse stick pin from Stephanie (MLBOW) I knew that I wanted to use it an this paper collection was just perfect for it! So I added to the upper portion of my tag to go along with the purse sticker that I also adhered.

Here's another look. She even made a little handle for the purse! It's so cute!

Easter Inspiration

During the next few days you will find a variety of Easter projects & inspiration over at the Imaginisce blog. The design team girls have been working hard and have created so many wonderful projects.

Today we're sharing some layouts and here's the layout that I created.

I used a photo of some cupcakes that my daughter & I made. For years, I had made Easter bread called Paska because my grandma always made that growing up. We all loved it as she lathered it with white icing and colorful sprinkles ... but I just can't bring myself to make it anymore because that darn recipe calls for sooooo many eggs. So I opted for cupcakes the last few years.

Anyways, on to my layout.

One of my favorite candies this time of the year are those Mini Eggs by Cadbury and they made the perfect topping for these little cupcakes.

Imaginisce's line called Hippity Hop was a perfect collection to use for my photos as well because the bird themed papers & embellishments just worked so well.

I did a bit of hand-stitching with some twine to make the bird cage appear to be hanging.

The cupcake button is from My Little Bit of Whimsy. They're so adorable!

Makin' Waves projects

I just wanted to share with you today the projects that I made for Imaginisce using the new Makin' Waves collections. This is such a fun summer themed release and I just loved using it.

"Hot Summer Days"

I used the die-cuts and chipboard pieces on this layout along with some Core'dinations Whitewash cardtsock for the background as I liked the 'water/sky' effect it added to my layout.

Supplies: Imaginisce (Makin' Waves collection, i-rock tool and Glam Rocks, Foam Tape), Core'dinations cardstock, Adhesives (by 3L)

"Cheesy Summer Smiles"

I wanted to a 'block' style design and then I hand-cut the flower designs from patterned paper and scattered it across my page.

Supplies: Imaginisce (Makin' Waves collection, Foam Tape), Core'dinations cardstock,

My Little Bit of Whimsy (bird stick pin), My Little Shoebox (alpha stickers), The Twinery (turquoise twine)

"Summer Sandy Fun"

I cut a curved line on the patterned paper, then traced it onto the cardstock matte and then used decorative scissors to make the final edge/matte behind that top layer. I added white Glam Rocks to the scalloped curved edge to dress it up a bit.

I used a circle punch and punched out a bunch of circles from the patterned paper and then used Foam Tape to pop them up on the page adding more dimension to my layout.

Love is in the Air!

Imaginisce is having a 'love' themed project week on their blog this week. You MUST come on over & check out the projects. Yesterday there were some gorgeous cards created by a few members of the Design Team. And today it's all about layouts.

Here's what I created for today's post.

My children bring me the most joy in life (and yes, it's not complete without frustration too! Don't get me wrong ... it's definitely not perfect!) BUT they do make me happy and complete my life!

I used the Sole Sisters collection of papers, die-cuts and sticker stackers.

Another close-up shot of the title. I added some Glam Rocks to the Sticker Stacker journal box and a Glam Rock (heart) to part of the title letters.

New Challenge

Wow!! Where did January go? Seriously. Where did it go?

This week just seems to be flying by for me as I've have a few field trips to go on, teaching piano, staying home with sick child (2 days), doctor's visits, library duty at school and .... life! But it's all good.

I'm excited to share with you Imaginisce's new Monthly Challenge. It's a sketch challenge designed by Diana Fisher.

... here's my take.

Supplies used: Imaginisce (Bon Voyage: papers, die-cuts, stickers; Glam Rocks & i-rock tool), Core'dinations Colorcore Cardstock, My Little Bit of Whimsy (bird stick pin), My Little Shoebox (alpha stickers), Divine Twine (twine), American Crafts (marker)

There are a few rules with the challenge though.

You must use at least 3 patterned papers and

3 embellishments and

the sketch as inspiration.

My Little Bit of Whimsy

Yesterday I shared a post on MLBOW. I just love those adorable embellishments. They just add the perfect touch to my layouts and cards.

I made 2 spring cards and here they are.

pin/stick and then tucked that behind the papers.

2 Peas Stamping Class & Imaginisce Monthly Challenge

Well, before I get into all the "scrappy talk" in my post I wanted to share some pics of my kiddos from last night's Halloween fun. They were so excited all day long and I was just so thankful that it had been a sunny day and no rain! It was still rather chilly but it didn't seem to phase them one bit!

So here's my little gorilla!

My grim reaper. I really struggled with him getting this costume because I don't like the evil, scarey stuff - I like the fun, cute & creative costumes! But I figured there was no blood & gore on this one so he was happy that I let him do this.

And then here's my cowgirl/deputy.

Ok Halloween stuff aside ... off to the rest of the post.

I've got some fun news to share with you today. A few months ago I was asked by Nichol Magourik to participate in her 2 Peas in a Bucket November Monthly Stamping class. The projects are revealed today for this class so I hope that you'll check it out.

My assignment was to paper piece with stamps. I chose some an Imaginisce stamp to work with - the little santa penquin. Isn't he cute? I stamped the image several times on different papers & cardstock (from white to black and patterned papers as well). Let's just say ... I did a LOT of layering!
