So hot!!!!

WOW!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe how hot it is here right now! We've had hot summers but I think this might be the warmest our house has ever been. It's just an oven!! I spent the entire day down in the basement with the kids yesterday. There was no way we could be outside it was just too hot. You can definitely see that it affects them as well as they're easily irriated by each other and somewhat on the grumpy side too. Poor things.

I had a great class on Thursday night teaching my transparency card class. I'm glad that I'll be teaching it again because I learned a few things that I can do differently the next time around. I think I'm becoming addicted to making cards like this because they are just so fun & unique!
Now I'm not usually an enabler, however, I've got some great news to tell you about so keep reading on ok? ;)

Well, let me start by asking how many of you use this machine? I must confess that I never dreamed of using one a few years ago and then when I got on the DT for Creative Xpress they gave us one and some dies to use. Well, over the past couple of years I've collected a "few" more and have found that this little machine really comes in handy and I love using it!
Well, if you use yours and have been eyeing some of those dies have I got a great deal for you to check out. Creative Xpress is having a huge sale on all their Sizzix products and I'm sure that these items will get snatched up in no time. So if you're interested I'd recommend that you check out these deals. Also please keep in mind that there date of availability is fast approaching!!

Sizzlit alphabets $38.61 (They get cheaper in a Build a Kit too)
Sizzlit sets of 4 and borders $4.86 - $5.15
Steel Rule dies $2.43 - $3.86
Alphabar #'s $7
Alphabar Alphabets $20 (Ransom is $25)
Embossing Folders $1.74 (I recently heard of using these as gift tags. Best use I ever heard of.)

Here's a link to the store where you can check it all out. Have fun! I'm sure you'll see a few other things that you might like to snatch up too! LOL!

Well I should go and get some breakfast (my tummy is starting to grumble a bit!) I just got a box back from CX returning some of my assignments. It's always fun to look at them again.

Here's a layout that I did - our challenge was to use the yarn & gem stones. The gems were no problem ... but the yarn! Yes, that was a challenge! LOL!

Have a wonderful weekend!
