Crazy week.

It wasn't really busy it was just nuts here. It was a week of hot weather, of rain, of grumpy & whiny kids, of not getting outside enough to play, of mommy losing her patience. One of those times when we're all just not having too much fun! Ever had a week like that? I must admit that I'm glad it's over. 'Cause I'm ready to start over.

It seems that whenever we don't have money things go wrong or break and stop working. First it was our vacumn a few months ago and now it's the washing machine. It's not spinning at all! When it's finished the cycle everything comes out sopping wet!! It's such a pain. So Monday I'll have to phone to get it fixed. Wonder how much that it'll cost us! Ouch!

Well, today Tim is helping a friend of mine move into her new place. The kids are playing nicely right now. I just made some rice krispie squares for them for a snack later. I'm sitting here catching up on things and hoping I'll be inspired to get some scrapbooking done (or at least started). I have some DT assignments that I'm trying to complete.
Keep your eyes open for the new projects that will be loaded on STM this coming week. Amazing layouts that will knock your socks off!!

I've got some big decisions to make in the area of scrapbooking too. One of them is that I was asked to teach a class for a huge event that is happening in October 12-14th. It's called Crop for Kids. There will be events all across Canada that weekend and the one here in Edmonton will be at West Edmonton Mall. I'm still in shock that I was asked to teach a class. My mind is still trying to grasp the idea of it all. I must admit that even though I'm scared I am still very excited about the idea of it. I haven't even said "yes" yet. LOL!
It's going to be an incredible event. All the money raised will be going to the local children's hospitals in the cities that have the cropping events. I'm very excited about this because we have a little connection with Stollery hospital. When Ryan was born he spent a few days in there because he had a hole on the outside lining of his lung. It was pretty scary for us. We were touched by the kindness and care that the staff showed us. He wasn't in for long but it was still a time that I won't forget.
Anyways, just thought I'd pass on this info. Especially for any of my US friends that would love to come to my place for a weekend and crop in October. My house is open and I would LOVE to have you visit!!
