And man!! I can't believe that my picture isn't working still. I tried to fix it but nothing happened. I"ll have to try again when I have a chance. (is it a big X for all of you reading my blog? Anyone there?)
Well, I finished my DT layout for Urban Scrapbook

This past weekend I worked at Urban Scrapbook's Scrapbooking convention. It was an incredible weekend. Stacy Julian was the speaker and her presentation on Friday night was fabulous. Yes, she talked about scrapbooking but she talked about real life issues and how to incorporate all of that (big or smal) into our albums. Stacy is such a geniune person and was so down to earth. She touched on issues that were so close to all of our hearts - making scrapbooking more than just preserving our pictures on paper. It went much deeper than that.
My friend Roxanne TA'd for Stacy's classes and wow!! That class sounded amazing! I wish I could have sat in on it!
On the Saturday night there was a reception for the Glimpses class that Stacy has online. Oh my! That was intense! These ladies shared bits & pieces from their albums ... and their hearts ... it was a room full of women sharing their deep thoughts, feelings & emotions. I know I was already quite tired then but I just couldn't stop the tears. I'm definitely considering doing this class myself.
I'm thrilled that I was able to meet her & listen to her speak.
As the weekend approaches I'm prepping for a class that I'm going to teach at a ladies retreat for Hope Mission. (that's always time consuming but I must admit that I like organizing all that stuff & getting it ready! It's kind of fun! I know ... call me wierd but I enjoy it!) I'm quite excited about this class. The theme of the weekend is "God's Purpose for the Pictures in Your Life". We are going to be making a 6x6 album, using some wonderful Crate papers, Autumn Leaves & Melissa Frances stamps & a bunch of pictures from our lives.
Well, that's all I have to say right now. Hope you have a great day!
your layout is very pretty!
