Here's a picture of the album.
Well, we have been getting quite the snowfall for the past few days. It really does feel like Christmas around here. I just don't like the freezing cold temperatures. I can do without that.
I am getting excited about the holidays though. We're not going away this year and while I'm kind of sad about not being with family this year I'm looking forward to starting new traditions with our family here.
Every year, I make up a family photo Christmas card (or with just the 3 kids). I did do a photo card this year with just the children but I had no intentions of making Christmas cards. They're just too much work for me usually and I've been so busy lately that I knew I didn't have the time for it this year either.
Well, yesterday I must have caught some card-making "bug" or something because I started making cards. Last night I made 14 cards and today I made a bunch more. Yeah!!! I'm pretty happy that I did it this year. They actually haven't been taking that long at all to make. So who knows. Maybe it'll happen again next year! ;)
This month the DT members at Urban were given a great package of Cosmo Cricket christmas line, chipboard letters and ribbons. Our challenge was to "tie" ribbon.
So this is what I came up.
This photo is actually the one I used for our Christmas cards. I just adore their happy faces!Well, I should go. I've got a few more cards to finish up here.
Your album is absolutely beautiful! The picture does not do it justice, it is even better in real!! You amaze me, Cari, not just how talented you are, but how much you can get done!!! Great layout too, love the picture!
