A few things to share & Happy Birthday!

Boy! It's been a busy few weeks.  I've been working hard on some new class projects and I wish I could share some peeks with you but I'll have to wait a bit longer.  It's always hard because I get so excited about them and want to share them.  They're for BC's Creative Expo here in October.  I've also been working on some classes for Crop 4 Kids which is also in October.  Those I can share with you but I haven't taken pictures yet! I know - big teases huh? Sorry.

I can't believe that my kids have been out of school for 2 weeks now and tomorrow is Canada Day!! I'm looking forward to the celebrations and hoping to take the kids to do some fun activities tomorrow.  It looks like it's going to be a gorgeous week so that's even better!
In honor of Canada's b-day and my fellow Americans who will be celebrating a birthday in a few days as well I made this little birthday card.

Supplies: Cosmo Cricket Mr Campy patterned paper, chipboard and sticker shapes; Marvy Uchida punches (scallop oval and oval), twill (unknown)

Here's another card that I made last month for a friend's birthday.
Supplies: Cosmo Cricket patterned paper, Core'dinations cardstock, twill, acrylic (Bazzill Basics), Cuttlebug embossing template, rhinestones (KaiserCraft), Fiskars border punch

While I'm here I thought I'd share a few more layouts (some old, some new).  I may not be around for a few days - busy with kids and scrappy assignments.  Plus it's just so hard to be inside when it's so nice outside!
I love this picture of my youngest.  It was such a hot day at the park, the kids faces were beat red from the heat but that didn't stop any of them. He had a blast on the swing and was just grinning from ear to ear!
Supplies: Cosmo Cricket Cogsmo patterned paper & chipboard shapes, American Crafts Thickers, Sakura white gelly roll pen, Bazzill Basics cardstock

This is typical of my 8 - almost 9 year-old daughter.  Getting those nice ("normal") smiles these days isn't always easy.
Supplies: Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday patterned papers & Mr Campy chipboard shapes, American Crafts Thickers, Basic Grey chipboard letters, American Crafts black pen

And here's one of my youngest - just being himself!!
Supplies: Cosmo Cricket Li'l Man collection, American Crafts chipboard

Well, that's it for now. Make sure to check Scrap Shotz tomorrow because it's the DT's BIG REVEAL with the July and trust me ... you won't want to miss it!! This kit was just awesome to work with!! I can't wait to share my projects.
So until next time ... HAPPY CANADA DAY!!!
