2 Peas Stamping Class & Imaginisce Monthly Challenge

Well, before I get into all the "scrappy talk" in my post I wanted to share some pics of my kiddos from last night's Halloween fun. They were so excited all day long and I was just so thankful that it had been a sunny day and no rain! It was still rather chilly but it didn't seem to phase them one bit!

So here's my little gorilla!
My grim reaper. I really struggled with him getting this costume because I don't like the evil, scarey stuff - I like the fun, cute & creative costumes! But I figured there was no blood & gore on this one so he was happy that I let him do this.
And then here's my cowgirl/deputy.

Ok Halloween stuff aside ... off to the rest of the post.

I've got some fun news to share with you today. A few months ago I was asked by Nichol Magourik to participate in her 2 Peas in a Bucket November Monthly Stamping class. The projects are revealed today for this class so I hope that you'll check it out.

My assignment was to paper piece with stamps. I chose some an Imaginisce stamp to work with - the little santa penquin. Isn't he cute? I stamped the image several times on different papers & cardstock (from white to black and patterned papers as well). Let's just say ... I did a LOT of layering!

Supplies used: Imaginisce (Santa's Little Helper collection: papers, stamps, snowflakes, die-cuts, sticker), Core'dinations Colorcore Cardstock, My LIttle Shoebox black alpha stickers, 3L (foam squares), American Crafts chipboard Thickers, ribbons (Making Memories)

Now another fun thing to share!!
It's time to share with you the new monthly challenge hosted by Imaginisce.

I was asked to design the sketch for this month - so I hope that you like it. I can't wait to see what everyone creates from it.

Here's my sketch.

And here's my layout.

Supplies used: Imaginisce (patterned papers, die-cuts, chipboard, Glam Rocks), Core'dinations cardstock, Divine Twine (twine), My Little Bit of Whimsy (mushroom button)

Thanks for stopping by today and please make sure to hop on over to the Imaginisce blog to see what some of the Design Team members created using the sketch. They have all done a fantastic job. I love the creativity!

Just a note ... I'm going to have some more exciting news to share with you tomorrow and on Wednesday! Yes, it's a very exciting 1st week of November!!! Woohoo!!!!
