To capture all those memories and special moments I've created a mini album, .... a December Daily.
Simple Stories is having a fabulous Blog Hop right now and you've most likely made your way here from their blog ... seeing as I was your 1st stop on today's blog hop.
So welcome! I'm thrilled that you've stopped by my blog today.
At the end of my post I'll some info on where you need to go next and a few other important details about the hop.
I started creating my project using the fabulous red 6 x8 Simple Stories album. It comes with Sn@p pages (in red) and plastic sheets already inside. Plus I used the Handmade Holiday (8x8) album pages for extra pages. I've incorporated most of the other Handmade Holiday products in my album too (as you will see from my supply list).
Here's the cover of my album.
The stickers are so much fun and add so much interest.
I used a LOT of foam squares to add depth to the cover.
I used a LOT of foam squares to add depth to the cover.
On the spine of the album I put one of the 'ticket' stub stickers onto some cardstock, trimmed it down and stuck it in the label holder.
I continued carrying the green pom-pom ribbon to the inside cover where I decorated it a tiny little bit.
My 1st page of the album is quite simple and I'm not quite sure what I'll put on it yet.
I cut up all the 4x6, 4x4, journal sheets and the small journal cards from the 6x6 paper pad as well. This made it so easy to put into the plastic sheets and add as embellishments to my pages.
I then embellished it with stickers (12x12 Fundamental Cardstock Stickers, 12x12 Element Cardstock Stickers) , lace, ribbon and twine. And of course, I used lots of foam squares!
My album isn't complete yet but it's getting there.
So are you ready for some pictures??
Ok! Here we go!
DAY ONE
I already know what picture I'll be putting here. Can you guess?
It'll be my 1st Starbucks drink for the month of December. (they make my favorites at this time of the year .... well, they already are now!!)
I embossed some Core'dinations Colorcore cardstock throughout my album
to add more color & texture.
DAY TWO
As you will see - I've kept the numbers (for the month) in the same design to give my album some cohesiveness and balance.
DAY THREE
DAY FOUR
I'm hoping to fill these pages with holiday baking pictures
and list of things that I've baked for the holidays.
DAY FIVE
I made little accordian folded mini to hold a bunch of smaller photos.
DAY SIX
DAY SEVEN
DAY EIGHT
Thank you SO much for stopping by.
And be sure to leave me a comment here on my blog because
Simple Stories will be randomly picking a winner from each Designer's blog on today's blog hop.
Plus they'll be a few other winners chose for some extra goodies!
Here's the Blog Hop order so that you can continue on this super fun & festive hop.
