Doodlebug & Xyron team up!

Throughout this week Doodlebug and Xyron are partnering up.

And I'm so excited to share my project with you today. Doodlebug sent us Halloween Parade and it is so much fun!!

I decided that I wasn't going to do my traditional type of project - scrapbook layouts . So I looked at the papers & embellishments and tried to think outside of my box.

I came across this fabulous Silhouette file by  and knew that was what I wanted to create.  A pair of witch boots ... Good Witch boots though. :)  (cause these babies don't look evil!)

I enlarged the file pieces slightly and cut them from a variety of patterned papers.
I adhered the pieces carefully together using Xyron' s Double Sided High Tack Tape.
I cut the inside 'lace' flap from a 6x6 piece of orange polka dotted paper (from the 6x6 paper pad) and then threaded some ribbon through the lace holes and then added some black rhinestone gems.

I also added a small strip of the scalloped edge sticker border (Fancy Frill Stickers) just above the ribbon 'laces'.

On the inside back top edge of the boot I cut small pieces of the purple sticker border (Fancy Frills Stickers). I adhered some of the sticker on the back side of the boot and then some on the inside.  I tried to line the sticker edges up as best I could.

I also added a Doodlebug doodads on the inside (back top) of each boot.

I also cut the back of the boot with different patterned paper than the rest of the boot. Looks kind of retro don't ya think?
And those chevron heels? Wicked!

Supplies used: Xyron (Double-Sided High Tack Tape), Doodlebug (Halloween Parade collection: patterned papers, , Jewels, Fancy Frills Stickers, Doodads, ribbon (May Arts), Silhouette

And just for fun I used the Doodlebug Mini Pockets Paper Craft Kit (6x6) .
If you're looking for a quick & easy card & envelope set this is it!! This took a matter of 2 minutes to put together.  Adhere the envelope together using Xyron Double Sided High Tack Tape, add some stickers, and insert the card. Voila!

Thanks Doodlebug for teaming up with Xyron!!!

And thank YOU for stopping by!!

    1. Hi Ginny,
It's a Silhouette cut tile designed by Snapdragon Snippets. It's called 'Witch Boots".
