Simple Stories Albums & Pocket Pages (and a Giveaway!!)

OH my!!!
Have you seen the fabulous albums and pocket pages from Simple Stories yet? They are absolutely wonderful!

Here's a look at the albums. CLICK HERE.
I chose a 12x12 classic black binder and I love it!

Don't you just love all the colours? It makes it hard to choose!  These faux leather albums come in a variety of colours (black, red, teal, brown, pink and green) plus two sizes (12x12 and 6x8).  They have gorgeous white stitching around the edges and metal corner accents as well as a stylish bookplate on the spine to add whatever title you want for your album.

And here's what the pocket pages look like. CLICK HERE.

I got the 12x12 assorted pocket pages.

So many wonderful choices and grids to work with. I love that versatility.

The Pocket Pages packages comes with a great selection.  10 pocket pages with a variety of sizes.  And you know what? The pockets are true to size!!!  No trimming needed. They fit those 4x6 photos and 3x4 cards! I love that!

Another great feature is that you can even add the 6x8 pocket pages to the 12x12 binder.  Oh yes you can!!!  It's like having some mini pages mixed in with your big pages. A fun idea huh?

Best of all, it's so easy to put together a layout.  You will find that you can finish off pages in no time at all.

I was surprised at how quickly this layout came together for me. I just printed off my 4x6 photos, slipped them into the pockets, added some of the new Sn@p Cards (Family), did a wee bit of computer journaling and voila! I was done!!!!

The double page spread.

Adding some stickers from the Sn@p Card (Family) make this complete looking.

A close-up of page 2.
(I'm quite new to the whole pocket page way of scrapbooking ... so next time I chop up my 4x6 photo (see middle of page ... I'll chose a bit more wisely. :))

Supplies used: Simple Stories (Pocket Pages 12x12 size; Sn@p Cards (Family)

I can envision how quickly that HUGE stack of years & years of photos can start to dwindle down.
