Hi everyone!
I'm excited to share some double paged layouts with you today.
These layouts were part of a class that I recently taught at an event in British Columbia called BC's Crop for Kids. The event raises money for BC's Children's Hospital. It's an incredible event and they raise so much money each year.
This year one of my classes included the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss collection. This is such a beautiful collection. I paired it up with Core'dinations Colorcore Cardstock and created two double paged spreads.
This is a rare thing for me because I don't usually do double paged layouts. But I challenged myself to create these because a lot of scrapbookers around here appreciate doing these and I'm glad I challenged myself!
Here's the first layout.
I used Core'dinations Tim Holtz Kraft Core as the base of the layout. I then cut up various pieces of Vintage Bliss patterned papers and spread them across both pages.
Using the border strip patterned paper is a great way to add titles and visual interest to the page as well. And of course, the Embellishment Stickers and 3x4 journal cards are always a perfect touch.
My second layout used some left over pieces from layout one but also a few more added patterened papers were used (pink polka dot, chevron, and yellow grid paper were used).
With a little bit of twine added ... the banner stickers added visual interest to the top left corner of my layout. PLUS mixing up the fonts of the alphabet stickers creates a fun title as well.
I created a fair bit of layering with papers and stickers.
I also added lots of foam tape for added dimension (one of my favorite things to do)!
I created a little 'card' on the layout as well by cutting a piece of white cardstock, folding it in half and adhering a 3x4 journal card inside along with a photo. This is a great way to add more journaling or extra pictures.
Here's a peak at it opened up.
Thanks for stopping by!
