So on to the layout the I created.

I made a single page layout using the fabulous Simple Stories Homespun Collection and some Petaloo goodies.

I used the wrapped up bundle of flowers & some clusters to add some visual interest & texture to my layout.

I also had some fun with some Simple Stories Silhouette shapes.  I used Love.Love.Love (Camera), LOVE YOU"love" POLAROID design which you can find in the Simple Stories section of the Silhouette Online store.
In the center of the camera I attached a brad which reads ' the fan'. I liked the punch it gave with the black brad in contrast with the yellow.

The small Insta-square heart shape design I used along with another Insta-square shape which had the word "love" printed on it. I just adhered this behind the cut-out heart shape. I did wrap some ribbon around the edge of the heart shape window before adhering the other piece behind.

I'm so in love with all of the new Simple Stories Silhouette images and because I just love my Silhouette!!
So ... I used my Silhouette to cut out the polaroid design in red cardstock. I embellished the heart with the yellow cut out heart from the camera.  I like to use the negative images from cut-out designs in other places on my layouts if possible.
I covered the back of the 'together' tag with some blue paper to help it pop off the neutral colored background.

I used the yellow scalloped doily diecut for my journaling.  I was not happy with how it came out after I printed on it because the lines were all crooked.
So I printed the journaling out once again onto white paper and then cut it out, inked the edges and adhered to the doily shape.
I just love the pop of colour that the flowers give to my layout. They matched this collection just perfectly!
