New stamps

MyStampBOX has come out with a few new stamp collection for CHA this year.

Here's a peek at one of the new sets.

PENNANTS.

I just love this stamp set and pennants are all the rage right now in the scrapbooking world. I had so much fun creating this layout with this stamp set.

Supplies used: myStampBOX (stamps - Pennants, Royal Flush and Colorful Companions), Core'dinations Cardstock, 3L (foam squares), Fiskars border punches, Queen & Co. felt flowers & pearls, Jillibean Soup Journal Sprout & sticker, Making Memories black alpha stickers

Imaginisce release this fabulous new tool a short while ago - i-bond - and I love my glue gun because it's cordless!!! What's new for CHA is glitter glue and colored glues! So fun!!!

Have you had a chance to play with the Roly Rosies?? They're wonderful aren't they? It's all the rage right now. For CHA Imaginisce is releasing some fabric ones - I think they're beautiful (my favorite is the dictionary paper ones! Love those.)

I LOVE my i-rock tool and love using it on almost everything I create right now.

SO, when I heard that they were coming out with new colors I was very excited. They've also added some fun new shapes to the collection as well as a handy little pink tray that helps you put back all your precious little jewels into their containers.

I've got more scrappy goodness to share with you. *Beware* It's a long post ... but good!

Debuting at CHA will be a few new releases.

"Berrylicious" - this collection is just so delicious you can just smell it!!! And trust me I have these goodies in my hot little hands right now!!!

We'll be having a launch party for this release February 21st. So mark your calendars!

"Little Cutie" and "Little Man" - these 2 collections are just so cuddly & so precious.

Mark your calendars once again as Imaginisce will be having a release party for this new collection on April 11th.

"Happy Camper" - I love this one - the colors are so earthy and the embellishments are just perfect.

May 9th Imaginisce will be having a release party on their blog for this fabulous new collection so don't forget to check it out!

So, yesterday was my 42nd Birthday and it was a really nice day. Relaxing and enjoyable. Went out for lunch with my hubby, then I went out for a little "me" time - shopping with a nice Starbucks drink in hand. After picking up the kids from school my hubby prepared a wonderful & delicious pizza dinner and all of my family came over to enjoy it with me. Had one of my favorite cakes - Tuxedo cake - Yummy!!!

And then I was spoiled with an incredible present.

If you don't know, my dad is an artist. An incredible painter. He began painting when he was a young boy and then later over 40 years he was in the church ministry and as a senior pastor. Now that he is retired he is enjoying painting and working on projects for himself and for others.

This last month or so he has been working on a painting that really caught my eye and when I saw the finished product I loved it! It takes me to a peaceful and calm place where the waves can be heard crashing onto the shore, the birds flying over the sand and the smell of the wildflowers fill the air. I truly loved this picture.

So I came home and told my hubby that my dad had finished a painting that I loved and wished that I could have. Especially knowing that he was planning to have another Gallery showing in the future months I would have to save up some money if I wanted to have this work of art as my own.

Well, my dear Tim heard my heart's request and talked with my dad about the painting. Yes, you guessed it. Last night I received that wonderful gift - the pink bike is mine!!!! I was speechless and so touched with emotion to unwrap that special gift. (to see the painting click on the link above)

Now I have to find the perfect place to put it so that I can see it every day.

So, I woke up this morning to tons of emails & facebook posts on my wall wishing me a Happy Birthday and I just want to say 'thankyou' to everyone. That's a great way to wake up! Put a smile on my face ... even though turning another year older isn't exactly making me smile! But I'm happy and feel very blessed.

I want to also say "thank you" to everyone who has stopped by my blog from Imaginisce and left me a comment & became a follower. It's been great to read all your comments. (and yes, I really do read them ALL!)

So, off to tidy up the house a bit as we're having family over for my b-day dinner (pizza, of course! ;) and then I might go out and treat myself to something special today ... we'll see.

Being on the Imaginisce Design Team

I'm absolutely thrilled to be a part of the Imaginisce Design Team for 2011. I love this company!! Love their products and love creating for them. So when Lori asked if I would like to stay on the team for 2011 I was beyond excited and was grinning from ear to ear for days!!

Today on the Imaginisce blog I've posted 10 things that you don't know about me ... so you'll have to make sure to check it out (after you finish here! ;))

So before you leave my blog & head over to the Imaginisce blog I just wanted to share quickly with you why I wanted to be a part of this amazing team/company again.

I love color and fun designs and Imaginisce has blown me away with their collections from 2010. I wanted to be a part of this team again and be able to create a variety of projects (layouts, cards, altered) using Imaginisce's amazing product because it just makes me happy looking at all the different designs and playing with all of the fantastic tools they keep coming up with. I also love being part of an incredible team. This entire company and the Design Team work together so well and I have been so blessed to be a part of it for 2010 and I'm extremely excited to be on the team again for 2011.

Here are some of my favorite Imaginisce projects from 2010 including some classes that I taught.
