Love is in the air!

Like we haven't heard that phrase enough already?

Well it is.
Over at the  Imaginisce blog we've been having a ton of Valentine themed inspiration. If you haven't checked it out you must do so.
PLUS there's a chance to win a collection pkg of LOVE YOU MORE!! And trust me ... this collection rocks!!! I love it!!

Here are 2 cards that I created using this collection. I was going to embellish the first one a bit more with my i-rock tool but then I found that I liked the simplicity of it. So I just left it alone.

Be Mine
I used one of the large stickers as the main sentiment & focal point on this first card. I added a little dimension by adhereing the gray banner sticker with foam tape & some texture with the pretty gray ribbon from May Arts.

Supplies used: Imaginisce (Love You More: patterned papers, Love Birds 12x12 sticker sheet; foam tape (white))
Other: Ribbon (May Arts); Cardstock (Core'dinations Colorcore cardstock)

I "Heart" You
I created this 'tic tac toe' idea on cardstock using the LYM Washi tape. That stuff is so fun & easy to use. I embellished the grid design with some LYM buttons and alpha stickers.

Supplies used: Imaginisce (Love You More: patterned papers, Washi tape, buttons; foam tape)
Other: twine (The Twinery); Cardstock (Core'dinations Colorcore cardstock)

and even though I've shared this layout before I thought I'd post it again because I love this new collection and I love this man!!!

I hope that you have a wonderful Valentine's Day tomorrow with the ones that you love!!

I've also got some new class dates lined up which you can see by clicking on the Class Dates tab just under my blog banner.  I'll post more about it tomorrow too.

Imaginisce December challenge

Imaginisce has a fun Monthly Challenge for December.

Check it out HERE.
If you happen to have some Imaginisce collections I invite you to play along.

Here's my take on the challenge (use non-christmas/holiday themed papers, etc to create a Christmas/ holiday card or layout).

I used patterned papers from the new Love You More collection (stripes and red chevron design) and also from Hello Cupcake (red polka dot) and the chipboard sticker is from Sole Sisters.

I embellished the chipboard oval shape with some sparkly red Glam Rocks and added some May Arts ribbon along with a pin and a stamped sentiment/flag.

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful weekend.
Now I'm off to pull out the christmas decorations and start decorating our home!

Love You More!

Have you seen the new Imaginisce collection called Love You More??
Oh my! It is my new fav!

The colors, the patterns, etc ... are wonderful. PLUS they now have alphabet stickers!!!!  And another full 12x12 sheets of embellishment stickers!!  *Swooooon!!*

Here's a layout that I created using this new amazing collection.

I chose the chevron gray patterned paper to use as my background because I knew that I wanted to use a black & white photo. To balance the B&W photo with the background paper I used the more colorful & playful designs & colors to brighten things up.

I also used my Cricut Expression to cut out the heart designs on the spotted paper. I traced the heart shapes onto the gray paper and then placed small scraps of different patterned papers.  I adhered the spotted paper (with the cut out heart shapes) using some foam tape. This gave a bit of dimension which I love.

I embossed some Core'dinations cardstock in gray to give a bit more depth with the darker color and then adhered the sticker "you & me" (using foam tape) overtop along with the heart sticker at the bottom left (again using more foam tape).

I added a few heart shape Glam Rocks to give some shine & bling to my layout. Plus they fit perfectly with the theme! And the small square alphabets worked wonderfully with the sticker "always & forever".

Thanks for stopping by and I hope I've inspired you with this fabulous collection.
You should be able to find it in the stores already!!

Have a super Wednesday!
