Good Friday

Hi there!
Just wanted to share with you a few Easter-y things that I've made.

The first is a card using my Cricut & Spring Holiday Cards cartridge.
Supplies used: Core'dinations cardstock, Queen & Co pearls, ribbon, Cuttlebug embossing folders, Cricut, Spring Cards cartridge

This is a napking ring that I made. Super easy & super fun way to decorate your dinner table for this season.

Supplies Used: Core'dinations cardstock (Core Essentials, Gemstones & Whitewash collection), Fiskars punches & paper crimper, other: cloth napkin

I love Fridays because it means the weekend is here!
But this day ... more than any other ... marks a special moment for me. Christ died for me! Today is a day where I remember Christ's suffering on the cross to free me from my sins & so that I can live eternally with him one day. I often have a hard time wrapping my mind around the fact that He did this for me. Someone so not worthy of that. I've failed Him so many times and in so many ways. I can't even begin to thank the Lord enough for what He's done for me. I am forever grateful.

There's an old song that goes something like this:

You did not wait for me – to draw near to You
But You clothed Yourself with frail humanity

You did not wait for me – to cry out to You
But You let me hear Your voice calling me

And I’m for – ev – er grateful to You
I’m for – ev – er grateful for the cross
I’m for – ev – er grateful to You
That You came
To seek and save the lost

As for traditions in our family, my kids have enjoyed dying eggs. So that's on our agenda for today. A symbol of new life. Love that!
I'll post some pics of that later (if they turn out!)

Have a wonderful day!
