Boys and more new CHA stuff! (*warming -long post*)

Morning everyone!

Yesterday was like any other day really - except for the fact that it was my birthday. It was a nice relaxing day. I had a wonderful lunch with my hubby and JJ (after we picked him up from Kindergarten). Then I came home and did some re-organizing of my scraproom & finished up a class project. My family (extended as well) surprised last night with a brand new bike! I must say it's pretty sleek looking. I love it! I must have complained enough this past summer everytime my hubby took the kids for a bike ride and I couldn't join them 'cause I didn't have one. I'm so excited now that I can take the kids for a bike ride myself!

Tomorrow I'm teaching another class at Clipper Street. 1, 2, 3, Go Boy! If you're in need of boy ideas than this is the class for you. It's quite full for tomorrow but there is another date to choose from so if you're interested make sure to check the class calendar.

Here's a peek.

OK! Now on to some more amazing new stuff for Imaginisce.

Busy kitting

Yeppers! That's what I've been doing this afternoon. Kitting for a class I'm teaching tomorrow night at Clipper Street.

I've been teaching a series called 1,2,3 Go! where we create 3 single paged layouts in hopes that it will inspire those students who like to create double page spreads. This class is all about girls. (I mentioned the Boy class a few posts ago.) Thought I'd share a few peeks at this class for tomorrow. We're using a fabulous collection from My Mind's Eye.

So, if you live in the area I'd love to have you come! We'll have a ton of fun!

You've got to check this out!

Kim Holmes is so creative!!! This girl has used the i-top in such a fabulous way.
CLICK HERE for the blog post at Imaginisce and you'll see what I'm talking about.

So Monday morning is here again ... along with the laundry and cleaning up. Such fun!
In other words, I've really got nothing to say! Too busy!

Have a great day! ;)

"New Imaginisce"

Imaginisce has come out with a new addition to the t-top backer 2010 collection and I've had a chance to play with these already & they are so much fun. The possibilities and ideas that one could come up with are endless!

Imaginisce has come up with new Magnet Backers to use with the i-Top tool. It's so easy & so much fun. You can cover them with paper, photos, fabric, etc. Anything!

This is what I created with them.
A paper doll.

The doll is made from cardstock which I traced onto a magnetic sheet and cut that out as well. I then cut out paper clothes (all from Imaginisce, of course! ;)) and covered the magnetic backers with paper. The magnets are used to hold the clothes onto the doll. My daughter loved this when I showed it to her.

Can't wait to see what the rest of you create when you get your hands on these!
Have a great weekend!

What a fun collection!!

Have you seen this yet??
It's such a fun line! So romantic, cheerful and the Imaginisce design team rocked with their projects. Check out the Imaginisce blog for some fabulous cards. CLICK HERE.
I apologize for my "yuck" photo - lighting was bad that day. Very dark & rainy.

But I'll share another layout that I created.

And then I created a ring using the i-top tool with the Brad Daddies. I just love this new tool! Love it!!!

Fun stuff. I'll share some more in the next few days 'cause I've got a fun little project using magnets with the i-tool! Fun, fun, fun!

So excited!!!

I've got a few teaching engagements lined up and I'm so excited to be teaching alongside the talented Cathie Allan and the amazing technique queen Leica Forrest!!!

If you live in Abbotsford or Victoria, BC then I hope you check this out. Even if you live somewhere else we'd love to have you come to the Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival on March 12 & 13th and April 16 & 17th, 2010.
Check it out HERE for more information and classes that will be offered. I'll post some peeks of my classes at a later date.

Well, it was a hard morning to wake up. The kids were quite tired and so was I! It's been a cleaning up and laundry day so far. Just sitting down now to do a bit of paper work and maybe some scrappy work.
Have a wonderful Monday.

Happy New Year

Ok, so I'm a few days late in wishing you a Happy New Year.

Our family has had an enjoyable holiday with family & friends. I think we're all ready to get back into routine though. I'm sure tomorrow morning will be a difficult one to wake up especially after all the sleeping in we've been enjoying!

Just thought I'd share a few layouts with you that I'll be teaching at Clipper Street. I'm teaching 2 different classes - one boy & one girl using My Minds Eye product! It's going to be lots of fun.
Here's a peek at the boy layouts.

Hope you're enjoying your Sunday!
