Where did this month go??

Boy! I can't believe that it's Friday and this month is almost over!!! Wow!

I was working today and completely forgot to post my project this morning on Paper Trunk's blog. However, it's up now. I created a school set for a teacher or a student. More info on the project is posted on the blog so go & check it out! ;)

We've finally been having some fabulous sunny weather. Love it!

And hoping to enjoy the weekend as it's this young man's 8th birthday!! (this picture is from last Saturday when we had a birthday party for him with his school friends at the pool! They had so much fun!)
Happy Birthday my sweet boy!

A Busy Weekend!

Phew!! What a crazy weekend! I feel like I can finally take a breath!

School finished on Friday so the kids were quite excited.

We celebrated with a HUGE slurpee and a few hours at the water park - 'cause they got out at noon.
Then Saturday I had a worship practice at church in the am, back home to get all the stuff ready for Ryan's birthday party at the pool! The kids had a blast!! It was such a great place to have a party!

And then yesterday was Father's Day. The boys made these darling little books for Tim and with Kailyn made this for her daddy (with my help).

Supplies used: Imaginisce "Live Loud" collection (paper, ribbon, chipboard), Making Memories alpha stickers, Scenic Route "u" chipboard letter

So, today it's a bit of laundry, tidy up, put away all the school papers etc, maybe a trip to the mall because Ryan is anxious to spend some of his birthday money.
I am hoping that sometime this week we can go to the strawberry patch and pick a bunch of strawberries. Just hoping for some dry weather.

Well, that's it for today! Have a great Monday!

Oh my!!!

I'm so excited about these new collections!!!!! Imaginisce has 2 more new collections up on their website now.

COTTAGE CHRISTMAS - I love it all!!! I just love the touch of blue!!

APPLE CIDER - I adore the warm & rich colors of this collection and the little woodland creatures are so cute!! I think it's going to be hard to decide which side of the paper to use though 'cause I like it all!

Well, it's been a crazy busy week here in our household as my kids finish school tomorrow. We're looking forward to JJ's Kindergarten graduation as well. I was at the practice helping out & they're all just so cute!
Then we've got Ryan's b-day party to do this weekend! Plus the boys are getting new bunk beds! They're so excited!!

Well, off to get some supper ready! (and hoping those blue skies will return!)

I love my Clip it Up and believe it's so full that I could probably use another one!!
They've got some pretty cool projects on the blog too! So many creative people out there!

Today is my day to post on The Inspired Scrapbooker site. My challenge this week was Weddings. I could do a layout or cards or something else but I chose to stick with cards this time. For some reason I just can't dig out my wedding photos and start scrapping them ... mostly 'cause I can't be bothered as they're already in a book nice & neat.

Anyways, here's the cards that I created using "To Love & Cherish" collection from Imaginisce.

Supplies used: Imaginisce (To Love & Cherish collection - papers, flowers, rub-ons, brads), Core'dinations, ribbon, buttons, Fiskars border punches

Well, that's it for today! Have a great Friday & awesome weekend!

Today

... is the final day for the Paper Trunk's blog rock. It's been a great week and it sounds like you're all enjoying the peeks of the new collection. I'm excited to play with it and when I get something done I'll be sure to share it with you!

As for sneak peeks ... here's a couple for some classes that I'll be teaching at BC's Crop for Kids this coming October.
This card class ("Floral & Feminine") uses My Mind's Eye papers, diecuts and transparency along with some Bazzill cardstock.
This is a christmas card class ("A Wonderland of Cards") using Imaginisce's "Polar Expressions" collection and Core'dinations cardstock.

For more info on classes make sure to check out their website as more classes are being posted all the time. And they're all fabulous!!!

Can you believe it?? It's June 1st already!!! Yikes!!! May completely passed me by. I think working part-time made my life nuts and everything is just a blur. Oh well. Hopefully once school is finished and all the year-end activities are done with then we can relax a bit and just enjoy each other & life!

One other thing before I finish off here ... don't forget to check out Imaginisce's blog for the new June sketch challenge. As always follow the rules (using Imaginisce product, the sketch and leave a link to your finished layout and you've got a chance to win some awesome Imaginisce product!!) Plus check out all the fabulous layouts that the Design Team created this month!

Have a great day!
